      Event Policies

The Knoxville Civic Auditorium Coliseum is determined to provide safe and enjoyable events for our guest. Therefore, we have come up with the following guidelines for our facility. Our goal is to try to make your upcoming event an experience you will never forget, and make the Knoxville Civic Auditorium Coliseum the place you want to come to be entertained. In order to accomplish this goal we need your assistance with the following:  

 

Animals: Guests may not bring animals into the Knoxville Civic Auditorium Coliseum. Exceptions include guide, sign and signal dogs that aid guests with disabilities.  

Assisted Listening Devices: Listening devices are available for any guest that requests one. If you would like to use this service, just stop by the Box Office, or ask any member of our guest services team to get you an assisted listening device.    

Behavior: We strongly encourage guest participation and enthusiasm at all of our events.  However, guests may not offend others or be unreasonably abusive to other guests, players, or staff. Guests who engage in disruptive or abusive behavior will be subject to eviction or arrest. 

Doors Open: Typically, doors open 60 minutes prior to the scheduled event start time.  

Re-admittance Policy: The Knoxville Civic Auditorium Coliseum has a "no re-admission" policy. Once guests have entered through the main gates they will not be allowed to exit and re-enter.

First Aid: There is a First Aid office located in the Auditorium and Coliseum lobbies. If you or another guest needs medical attention, please alert a member of our Guest Service Staff. They will be happy to direct you to the first aid office for further assistance. 

Purchasing Tickets: The Coliseum Box Office is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM to purchase individual event tickets. Tickets can also be purchased at any of the Tickets Unlimited Outlets, or by calling the Tickets Unlimited Phone Center at (865) 656-4444. For group ticket information, please call The Coliseum Box Office direct at (865) 215-8999 during business hours. 

Live Person: The Knoxville Civic Auditorium Coliseum Administration Office is open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and during events to answer any questions you may have. The Administration office telephone number is (865) 215-8900.  

Lost & Found:  To inquire about lost items please contact the Knoxville Civic Auditorium Coliseum Administration Office at (865) 215-8900 M-F 9:00am-5:00pm. 

Restrooms: There are restrooms located through out the Knoxville Civic Auditorium and Coliseum. Our Guest service staff will be happy to direct you to the closest restroom from your seat.   

Smoking:   The Knoxville Civic Auditorium Coliseum is a smoke-free facility. Smoking is NOT permitted anywhere inside the facility.  However, designated smoking areas have been set-up for any guest wishing to smoke. Our Guest Service Staff will be happy to direct you to the closest designated smoking section.  

Telephones:   There are no pay phones located in the Knoxville Civic Auditorium and Coliseum. The nearest pay phones can be found at the police station or the Marriott Hotel.  

Cameras and Video: The use of video or audio recorders is not permitted, except by accredited members of the press. Still cameras without flash, or with the ability to turn off the flash, and with lenses that are 90mm or less can be brought into most sporting and family events. However, shooting areas are limited to your ticketed seat. Please note that camera policies may differ on certain events, due to the requirements of a particular show. Most concerts do not allow the use of any recording devices including Cameras, Audio, or video recording equipment.  

Laser Pens: Any type of laser pens or laser object is prohibited in the Auditorium and Coliseum. Any such device is dangerous to your fellow Guest, Athletes, and Artist you come to see. Any fan found carrying such an object is subject to dismissal from the building, as well as confiscation of the object.  In addition, any delays created by the use of such object by a fan can result in show delays, cancellations, and penalties to the home team.

Carry In Items: The following items are not permitted into the Knoxville Civic Auditorium Coliseum: Bottles or cans, outside Food, Coolers, Back packs, Frisbees and beach balls, Laser pointers, Any noise making devices, Fireworks, Illegal drugs and alcohol, and Weapons or any dangerous devices of any type.

All patrons, employees, and entertainers will be subject to a search of personal belongings. Anyone that refuses to turn over unauthorized items, or refuses to be searched, will not be allowed access into the Knoxville Civic Auditorium Coliseum.
 

Throwing Objects: For the safety of all, patrons must refrain from throwing any objects in the stands, onto the playing surface, or stage.  Patrons who do not comply will be ejected from the facility, and subject to arrest.  

Disorderly Conduct: Guests who fail to abide by the Knoxville Civic Auditorium Coliseum policies along with state and federal law are subject to ejection and or arrest. Any guest who is violating these policies will be asked to correct their behavior, if they fail to do so in a timely manner ejection or arrest will occur. Individuals who have been ejected must vacate the property or be subject to arrest on trespassing charges.  

Ejection: Guests that are ejected are no longer welcome at The Knoxville Civic Auditorium for that night. Any attempts at re-entry will result in arrest for trespassing.  

Elevator: The Knoxville Coliseum is equipped with one elevator. Any guest wishing to use the elevator should contact a member of the Guest service staff for assistance. There is not an elevator in the Knoxville Auditorium.   

Fire Arms/Weapons: No persons except local, state and federal law enforcement officials are permitted to bring weapons of any kind into Knoxville Civic Auditorium Coliseum. Guests with a weapon and a concealed handgun permit are not allowed to enter the Knoxville Civic Auditorium Coliseum. Anyone with a weapon will be instructed to return to his or her vehicle, or make other arrangements with the Knoxville Police Officer in charge of the event. Weapons will not be checked into the security office. Guests who refuse to follow this policy will be given a refund on their tickets and asked to leave the premises.

Food & Beverage: Guests may not bring food and beverages into the Knoxville Civic Auditorium Coliseum.

Give Away/Promotions: The Knoxville Civic Auditorium Coliseum and the presenter of the event collectively establish procedures for giveaways. If you have any questions about giveaways pleas call the Knoxville Civic Auditorium Coliseum Administration office (865) 215-8900, M-F from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

 Guest Appearance: Guests entering the Knoxville Civic Auditorium Coliseum must be properly attired with shoes and a shirt.

 Intoxicated Guest: any guest appearing to be intoxicated or under the influence of alcohol, or any illegal substance will not be admitted into any event at The Knoxville Civic Auditorium Coliseum. Any guest, who is deemed to be under the influence, will be turned over to the Knoxville Police Department and subject to ejection from the event, or arrest.
